Geneva Gray “Neva” Owen, age 88, of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, Tenn.
Neva was an interior decorator and she owned and operated Neva's Custom Decorating in Lansing, Michigan for 21 years.
She was born August 4, 1927 in Weakley County, TN to the late Elvis D. Bass and the late Thermutis Adelle Maddox Bass.
Neva married October 17, 1947 to James F. Owen and he preceded in death April 9, 2013.
She is survived by her Two Sons, Michael (Susan) Owen of Naperville, Ill, Kevin D. (Kim) Owen of Belize; Grandchildren, Amanda (Matt) Eischen, Stephen (Desiree') Owen, Sean Owen, Ian Owen, and Briana (Brian) Tiffee; and Great Grandchildren, Delaney Eischen, Dylan Eischen, and R.J. Owen; And Numerous relatives in the Paris and Henry County area.
Besides her Husband and Parents, she was also preceded in death by a Brother, Robert D. Bass.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 11 am – 2 pm Saturday, November 7, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 7, 2015.
Larry Woodard will officiate. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing, Mich.
Services in Michigan are tentatively set for Monday November 9, 2015 and will be conducted by Gorsline Runeiman Funeral Home, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI.
