Gary "Bear" Paulus

Gary “Bear” Paulus, age 66 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

He retired from Dana Corporation in Paris as a machine operator.  He loved playing Bingo and DJing.  He was referred to by many as “Bear.”

Gary was born September 26, 1952, in Royal Oak, MI, to the late Joseph William Paulus and the late Martha Ann Cassidy Paulus.

He was married July 18, 1982, to Susan Elaine Fraley Paulus, who survives, of Paris, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Paulus of Paris, TN, and Angela (Tom) Gerstenburger of Warren, MI; one son, Bradley Paulus of Madison Heights, MI; three grandchildren, Brittany Paulus, Noah Paulus, and Ari Paulus; and was loved by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Bratton and Sandra Winchester; and one brother, Richard Paulus.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned.
