Freddie Orr

Freddie Joe Orr, age 66 of Puryear, Tennessee died Tuesday October 11, 2016 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Freddie was a Member and a Deacon of Puryear Baptist Church in Puryear. He retired from ANR Pipeline after 29 years’ service as Office Manager and also retired from PMB Services in Paris after 10 years. He was a loving father and grandfather.

Born in Murray, Kentucky on April 3, 1950, He was the son of the late Telus Orr and Lottie Mae Kuykendall Orr who survives of Puryear, TN.

Freddie married Evelyn Cryer Orr of Puryear on February 22, 1974 and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Melanie Orr (Audie) Antonino of Paris, TN; Jodie (Jennifer) Orr of Hernando, MS; Brother Rickie (Judy) Orr of Puryear, TN; three grandchildren Khloe Antonino, Emma Laine Orr, and Griffin Orr; two nephews, Russ (Wendy) Orr of Puryear, TN; Jamie (Scarlet) Orr of Puryear, TN.

Visitation will be Thursday October 13, 2016, at Ridgeway Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday October 14, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Puryear Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Puryear Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Paschall Cemetery in Puryear, TN. Russ Orr, Jamie Orr, Scott Berryman, Kerry Bell, Gary Gamlin and Tony Nance will serve as pallbearers, Deacons of Puryear Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
