Fred Lindahl, age 77 of Paris, TN, formerly of Chicago, IL, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
He retired after many years as a Union painter in Chicago, IL. He was a member and governor of the Paris Moose Lodge #1915. Fred loved the Moose Lodge, his grandchildren, and enjoyed traveling, hunting, and the outdoors. He was Lutheran by belief.
Fred was born September 2, 1941, in Chicago, IL, to the late Norman Lindahl and the late Estelle Sprodak Lindahl.
He was married October 16, 1998, to Claudette Wimberley Lindhal, who survives, of Paris, TN.
Along with his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Audra (Dave) Lyons of Scottsdale, AZ, and Maura (Chris) Widlund of Buckeye, AZ, one son, Don (Pam) MCCracken of Algonquin, IL; one son-in-law, Tom Hatfield of Algonquin, IL; two sisters; six grandchildren, Mitchell (Kelsie) Lyons, McKenzie Lyons, Cody McCracken, Zachary Hatfield, Joshua Widlund, and Isabella Widlund.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Hatfield; one son, Mark McCracken; two brothers; and one grandson, Mark McCracken, Jr.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. The body is to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 25, 2018, at 2:00 pm at The Paris Moose Lodge #1915, 3003 Dinkins Lane, Paris, TN 38242.
