Frankie James, Sr.

Frankie James, Sr., age 57 of Paris, TN, died Sunday May 14, 2023, at his home in Paris, TN.

Frankie loved fishing and spending time with family. He enjoyed vintage cars and working puzzles. He was a self-employed mechanic and a jack of all trades. He formerly worked 27 years for the Tennessean as a newspaper delivery driver.

Frankie was born November 2, 1965, in Lansing, MI, to the late Franklin D James and Carolyn Fay Foy James, of Wingo, KY.

He was married on September 9, 2017, to Tiffany Chaney James who survives of Paris, TN.

Besides his wife and mother, Frankie is survived by two children, Jessica James of Como, TN, and Frankie (Billie) James, Jr. of Paris, TN; one stepdaughter. Barbara Goodrum of Paris, TN; three sisters, Carol Lynn Ramey of Murray, KY, Vickie Flores of Atwood, TN, and Tammy Chaney, Paris, TN; two brothers, David James of Arlington, KY, and Michael (Marsha) James of Buchanan, TN; and seven grandchildren, Emmett, Chloe, Kylee, Dawson, Harley, Dante, and Ava.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 4 – 7 pm and Friday, May 19, 2023, from 12 – 3 pm with the funeral service at Ridgeway Funeral Home at 3:00 pm with Bro. Andy Harrel and Bro. Michael James officiating.

Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris.
