Walker Franklin “Frank” Smith, age 69, of Buchanan, Tenn., died Sunday, February 28, 2016, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.

Frank was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He worked as a lighting specialist in Memphis, TN for 27 years before retiring to Henry County in 2001.  He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed being out on the water every chance he could.  He loved spending time with his Children and Grandchildren and his stories were always enjoyed by everyone he told them to.

He was born April 20, 1946 in Paragould, AR to the late Walker William Smith and the late Lessie B. Parker Smith Glover.

Frank was married on August 15, 1964 to Glenda Sue Garner Smith and she preceded him in death December 5, 2015.   He is survived by his two Sons,  William Franklin "Bill" (Carla) Smith of Avon, Ind, and James Christopher Smith of Southaven, Miss;  one Sister, Marjorie Neal of Dyersburg, Tenn;  four Grandchildren, London (Dual) Evans and Loghan, Lauren, and Lance Smith;  two Great Grandchildren, Baylee Anne Adams and Hudson Reid Evans; and Long Time Family Friend, Linda Wheeler of Kennett, MO.

Besides his Wife and Parents, Frank was also preceded in Death by his Step Father, L.P. Glover.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 11 am – 2 pm Thursday, March  3, 2016.   The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Thursday, March  3, 2016.

Edward "Ed" Smith will officiate and Pallbearers will be Alex Campbell, Chip Wallace, Wesley Nunn, Jeff Stafford, Dual Evans, and Will Taylor.

Interment will be at New Liberty Cemetery in Buchanan, Tenn.
