Frank Howell, Jr.

Frank Howell, Jr., age 81 of Paris, TN, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 in Paris, TN.

Frank retired after 35 years as a track inspector for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, eating out, and going to fish fries with the Fletcher family. 

He was born February 25, 1943 in Marshall County, MS to the late Frank Howell and the late Mary Etta Clayton Howell.

Frank was married on August 24, 1968 to Jolene Nance Howell and she survives of Paris. He is also survived by one brother, Clyde (Samantha) Howell of Hickory Flat, MS; several nieces; and his wife’s special cousin, Gary (Gail) Fletcher of Paris, TN.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Nell Howell Hill; and one nephew. 

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be held Friday, December 27, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, and continue Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 9:00 until 11:00 am. His funeral service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Bro. Russell Ragsdale and Bro. Mike Lineberry officiating.

Pallbearers will by Tommy McDonald, Alan Harris, Buster Myrick, Danny Williams, Bobby Compton, and Otis Watson. The men of Friendship Baptist Church are named as honorary pallbearers.

Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove, TN.
