Faye Inlow

Faye Inlow, age 93 of Paris, TN, died Sunday, November 18, 2018, at the Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, TN.

Faye first and foremost loved the Lord, her family, and her friends.  She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, and Sanders Senior Citizen Center where she enjoyed playing cards. She formerly worked at Salant & Salant, Woolworth’s, Baybee Shoe, and Sally Lanes. She also enjoyed ballroom dancing, bowling, and singing in church and at assisted living.

Faye was born July 16, 1925 in Sheldon, MO, to the late Roy Arlon Shepherd and the late Viola Gardner Shepherd.

She was married June 3, 1944 to James Lloyd Inlow, who preceded her in death on March 10, 1990.

She is survived by three children, Janet Inlow McCutcheon (Richard) Cooper of Dresden, TN, James P. (Jan) Inlow of Humbolt, TN, and Larry Joe (Patty) Inlow of Paris, TN; one sister, Francis Colvin of Webb City, MO; nine grandchildren, Jay (Sam) McCutcheon, Danny (Crissy) McCutcheon, Donna (Tommy) Counts, Anna Turner, Kimberly (Larry) Collums, Julie (Joey) Martin, Jason (Shonda) Brown, Jim Bob (Olga) Inlow, and Mickey (Jennifer Bishop) Wheatley; fourteen great grandchildren, Jordan Counts, Lily McCutcheon, Daniel Grey McCutcheon, Grace Paschall, Griffin Pashall, Gatlin Paschall, Jace Brown, Sara (Blair) White, Jack Martin, Jolee Martin, Madison Inlow, Kristopher Collums, Courtland Collums, and  Ashley Salyers; one great great grandchild, Piper Rose Lee; one sister-in-law, Nell Hamlin of Brownville, ME; and one friend who was like sister, Pat Nanney of Paris, TN.

In addition to her parents and husband, Faye was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Jean Inlow; one son, Ernest Lloyd Inlow; three brothers, Ernie Shepherd, Glenn Shepherd, and Don Shepherd; one granddaughter, Tabitha Faye Inlow, and one great grandson, Dylan Blaylock Counts.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2018, from 4 – 7 pm, and continue Saturday, November 24, 2018, from 12 – 2 pm with the funeral service at 2:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Malcolm Norton and Michael Barnhart officiating.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery in Paris, TN.
