Fay Glass

Fay Glass, age 76 of Buchanan, TN, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at her residence in Buchanan, TN.

She was a homemaker and a member of New Providence Baptist Church in New Providence, KY.  She formerly worked at Plumley Manufacturing Company in Paris.  She loved her flowers, gardening, and enjoyed crafting.

Fay was born May 17, 1942, in the Whitlock community of Paris, TN, to the late Alvis C. Evans and the late Ruby Lois Dunlap Evans.

She was married April 21, 1981, to Paul Raymond Glass, who preceded her in death on July 12, 2012.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Stewart of Gilbertsville, KY, Leisha Hastings of Buchanan, TN, and Karen (David) Chadwick of Buchanan, TN; one son, Joshua Glass of Camden, TN; two sisters, Mary (Russell) Wallace of Paris, TN, and Paulette (Edwin T.) Hill of Big Sandy, TN; one brother, William G. (Carolyn) Evans of Big Sandy, TN; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren’ and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Darren McCormick; two sisters, Daryl Evans and Rosie Durham; one brother, Clifton Evans; and one grandchild.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, and continue Friday, January 4, 2019, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.  The funeral service will be Friday, January 4, 2019, at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jason Chadwick, Justin Chadwick, Allen McCormick, Jimmy Vallery, James Vallery, and George Glass.

Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Buchanan, TN.
