Evora Allison Hill, age 89, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, October 30, 2016, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, Tenn.
Born July 18, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charles Allison and the late Sally O'Guin Allison. She married December 24, 1945, to Alfred Jefferson Hill who preceded in death March 12, 1998. Evora retired from Mar – Kel Lighting company. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Bethany Church of Christ.
Survivors include her two daughters: Patricia L. Smith of Paris, Tenn and Diane (Wayne) Fisher of Paris, Tenn; One Sister: Lina Nash of Paris, Tenn.: and one brother: Jimmy (Trish) Allison of Paris, Tenn. Additional survivors include three grandchildren: Tammie (Alan) Jay, Chad (Trina) Fisher and Brad (Beth) Jackson; seven great grandchildren: Carolina, Suzanna and Caden Jay; Emma, Tucker and Audrey Jackson; and Kora Fisher.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son in law: Jimmy Dale Smith; five sisters: Clister Smith, Juanita Allison, Geraldine Lamb, Odessa Cathey and Roberta Triplett along with two brothers: Charles Newton Allison and Edwin Earl Allison.
Pallbearers for the service are Charles Nash, Joey Nash, Jeff Hill, Bobby Triplett, Larry McFarland and Mitchell Evans.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. -P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 1, 2016 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 2, 2016.
The Funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 2, 2016 , with Charles T. Cate officiating.
Interment will be at Walker Cemetery in Paris, Term.
