Everett Grainger

Everett Grainger, age 86, of Cottage Grove, Tenn., died Saturday, January 31, 2015, at his residence in Cottage Grove, Tenn.
He was born in old 23rd district of Henry Co. He married Frances Brown Grainger June 29, 1946 and she preceded in death November 11, 1988. He then married Betty Walker Grainger February 14, 1990 and she survives. He was a member of Union Chapel Church of Christ near Palmersville, TN and retired from Midland Brake and was a lifelong cattle farmer.
Everett was born October 18, 1928 to the late Willis Arlington Grainger and the late Emma Bradford Grainger.
Besides his wife Betty, he is also survived by One Daughter, Brenda (Jerry) Shankle of Cottage Grove, Tenn; One Sister, Nola B. Simmons of McKenzie, Tenn; Grandchildren, Jennifer Ann Hodge of Paris, TN, Dirk (Atsuko) Hodge of Seattle, WA, Doug (Robin) Paschall of Paris, TN, David (Laura) Paschall of Chattanooga, TN, Paul (Dori) Paschall of Chattanooga, TN; Great Grandchildren, Ethan Hodge, Jonah Hodge, Carter Paschall, Everett Paschall and Audrey Elizabeth Paschall; Two Step Daughters, Julie Bohannon of Oklahoma City, OK, Jo Kilgore of Oklahoma City, OK; One Step Son, Jon (Heidi) Welch of Pleasant View, TN; Step Grandchildren, Alex Bohannon, Emily Welch and Jonathon Welch; Step Great Grandchild, Austin Medlock.
Everett was also preceded in death by a Daughter, JoAnne "Jo" Jones, and a Son in infancy, Jerry Mac Grainger.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Sunday, February 1, 2015 and from 9 – 11 am Monday, February 2, 2015. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 am Monday, February 2, 2015.
Gale Davidson and Charles T. Cate will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dirk Hodge, Doug Paschall, David Paschall, Paul Paschall, Jon Welch, and Charles Jones.
Interment will be at Walker Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
