Evelyn Odom Bowden

Evelyn Odom Bowden, age 68, of Cottage Grove, Tenn., died Friday, November 27, 2015, at her residence in Cottage Grove, Tenn.

She worked at Henry County Medical Center for over 30 years.    She was a Church of Christ and she enjoyed her family and was a loving mother.

Evelyn was born July 5, 1947 in Paris, TN to the late Ovie Lanius Odom and the late Blanche Lily Routon Odom.

She was married on April 30, 1964, to Robert Lee Bowden and he  survives.

She is also survived by her Four Daughters, Cindy (Jeff) Jones of Palmersville, Tenn,   Tammy (Kenneth) Wood of Cottage Grove, Tenn,   Brenda (Carl) Wood of Cottage Grove, Tenn,  Wendy (Les) Wynn of Paris, Tenn.;   Two Sons, Randall (Sherry) Bowden of Camden, Tenn,    Gary (Jenny) Bowden of Paris, Tenn.;   Two Sisters, Maggie Greer of Paris, Tenn,   Linda Odom Hughes of Alabama.;   Grandchildren, Amanda (Jimmy) McClain, Josh Bowden,  Jessica Bowden,  Ava McGrady,  Billy Joe Jones,  Landon (Serria) Jones,   Jonathan Lane,  Justin Bowden,  Jordan Bowden,  Russell Wood,  Colby Wood,  Lorin Wood,  Lance Wood,  Abby Wood,  Hunter Bethune,  Hannah Bethune, and  Liam Mellon;   And Great Grandchildren,  Jackson McClain,  Jamerson McClain, and  Penelope Bowden.

Besides her Parents, she was also preceded in death by  Four brothers, Billy Ray Odom,  Phillip Odom,  Loman Odom,  and  Kelly Odom

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. Paris, Tenn., where the  visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday, November 28, 2015.   The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 28, 2015.

Joe Page will officiate.    Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers

Interment will be at Cox Cemetery in Cottage Grove, Tenn.
