Evelyn Wade

Ruby Evelyn Wade, age 88 of Paris, TN, died Sunday, August 5, 2018, at her residence in Paris, TN.

She retired from Emerson Electric in Paris after 27 years as a shipping clerk.  She attended Paris Church of God of Prophecy.  She was a loving mother and loved to cook.

Evelyn was born May 8, 1930, to the late Thomas Jerry Burnette and the late Kate Patterson Burnette.

She was married December 24, 1948, to Clifford Franklin Wade, who preceded her in death on November 29, 1989.

She is survived by three sons, Ricky Lynn (Alberta) Wade of Livingston, TN, Jackie Dale Wade of Paris, TN, and Terry Joe (Natalie) Wade of Paris, TN; five grandchildren, Nathanael Wade, Heather Batts, Tabitha Melton, Tiffany Wade, and Jason Wade; and 11 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by six sisters, Blanche McDavid, Inez Tubbs, Ethel Johnson, Mary Winchester, Hattie Mae Smith, and Clara Burnette; and four brothers, Joe Burnette, Clayton Burnette, Jerry Lynn Burnette, and Arthur Burnette.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Rose Lawn Memory Garden, with Everett Holloway officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nathanael Wade, Jason Wade, Vince Farris, and other family members and friends.

Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris, TN.
