Evalyn "Evie" Fitzsimmons

Evalyn H. “Evie” Fitzsimmons, age 100, of McKenzie, TN, died Wednesday, April 20, 2017, at McKenzie Regional Hospital in McKenzie, TN.
Evie retired from C-R Industries in Elgin, IL. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Paris. She was an avid reader, loved flowers, and enjoyed traveling in her younger years.
Evie was born February 25, 1917, in Erdahl, MN, to the late Arthur Gilbertson and the late Blenda Markegard Gilbertson.
She was married in 1976 to Alan Fitzsimmons, who preceded her in death on October 10, 1983.
She is survived by one daughter, Karin Bain of Paris, TN; one son, Raymond Donnie (Stella) Krumrey of Old Harbor, AK; one sister, Lou Anne (Myron) Earsley of Arizona; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Helen Schumaker; and one brother, Glen Gilbertson.
Arrangements are be handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.
The body is to be cremated with a memorial service to be held July 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
