Henry County native and retired Martin Manufacturing employee Eva Jean West, 92, of Dresden died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at her residence.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Larry Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery between Como and Cottage Grove.
Named as pallbearers are Andrew, Randy, Gray and Curtis Nolan West, Clint Nathan Flowers and Mark Paul Casteel.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after noon Wednesday.
Born in Como on Jan. 9, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Curtis Jackson McRee and Linnie Mathney McRee.
She was married for 49 years to Ralph Glendol West, who died May 5, 1985.
West was a member of West Union Baptist Church at Dresden. She retired after 23 years at Martin (Tenn.) Manufacturing. She enjoyed quilting, according to a family member.
She leaves one sister: Jearline Joy West of Barnhart, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend: Becky West of Dresden.
She also was preceded in death by a great-nephew: Mark Johnathon West; and two great-nieces: Kyleigh Recee McClure and Bryleigh Grace McClure.
