The funeral service for former WTPR radio station bookkeeper and receptionist Eva Gray Morris of Paris will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Corey Cain will officiate. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Garden.
Chosen as pallbearers are Jim and Steve Ealey, Jeff Riley, Greg Knight and Charles R. Norwood.
Visitation will be two hours before the service.
Morris, 87, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at Henry County Healthcare Center.
Born Jan. 5, 1927, in Murray, she was a daughter of the late Roy M. and Fannie Bradley Kirkland.
She was married on Oct. 7, 1943, to Charles Edward Morris, who died Jan. 5, 1997.
In addition to working at WTPR, she also was a former secretary at the Mitchum Co. until it closed. She was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church and according to a family member enjoyed traveling with family members and gardening.
She leaves one daughter: Marcettia (Ray) Norwood of Paris; two sisters: Dorothy Lee (Duane) McDaniel and Donna (Millard Earl) Ealey, both of Benton, Ky.;
Two grandchildren: Charles R. (Candi) Norwood of Hickman and Jennifer G. (Greg) Knight of Milan; five great-grandchildren: Brett Milam and Ross, DeeGee, Mallory and Kirkland Norwood; and several nieces and nephews.
