Eugene Nance

Eugene Dallas Nance, age 87 of Paris, TN, died Friday, May 28, 2021, at his residence.

Eugene was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Paris. He formerly worked for Mitchum Company for over 20 years then he retired as a farmer.  He loved giving to his church and working on his farm.

He was born March 15, 1943, in Cottage Grove, TN, to the late Ernest E. Nance and the late Jewell Hart Nance.

He married Jo Etta Ross Nance on June 28, 1969, who survives, of Paris.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by one son, Ricky Nance of Paris; his twin sister, Darlene Paschall of Greenwood, MS; two grandchildren, Cody (Korie) Nance and Britany (Brandon) Nance; and five great grandchildren, Addie Jewell Nance, Nash Nance, Wyatt Nance, Clay Bush, and Sterlyn Dunlap

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Saturday, May 29, 2021, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Sunday, May 30, 2021, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be Sunday, May 30, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Gerald Scott officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Paschall, Mike Hudgins, David Doster, Jason Crews, Jeff Baker, and Rusty Compton. Honorary pallbearers will be Clay Bush and Sterlyn Dunlap.

Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery in Paris, TN.
