Ernest Mcbee

Ernest J. McBee, age 85 of Paris died October 16, 2014 at his residence.

He was married June 3, 1951 to Gerlene Ward McBee and she survives.    He was a member of Lakeside Christian Fellowship where he helped to build and establish it in 1987.   He was a WW II Veteran serving in the 11th Glider Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, KY and spent 3 years in Germany.    He was also retired from TVA as a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

Ernest was born July 2, 1929 in Berkeley Springs, WV to the late Ernest C. McBee and the late Betty Bohrer McBee.

Besides his Wife,  Ernest is survived by Two Daughters,  Pastor Pamela Hughes of Paris, TN,   Debbie Michels of Paris, TN;  Two Sons, Jackie Dale (Shirley) McBee of Paris, TN,  Eddie Joe (Shane) McBee of Cottage Grove, TN;  One sister, Ileen Ward of Baltimore, MD;  One Brother, Leon (Ann) McBee of Seattle, WA;   Nine Grandchildren,  Dawn McBee of Phoenix, AZ,  Christy (Pastor Alan) Taylor of Tulsa, OK,  Brian (Romy) McBee of Dallas, TX,  Sara (Darin) Jones of Seattle, WA,  Michelle Matthews of Paris, TN,  Amanda McBee of Paris, TN,  Kelli (Thomas) Tayloe of Paris, TN,  Leah Nauta of Paris, TN, and Craig McBee of Paris, TN;  15 Great Grandchildren;  and 2 Great Great Grandchildren; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by Sisters, Evelyn Barker and Lola Mae McCumbee and Brother, Charles McBee.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be Sunday November 2, 2014 at Lakeside Christian Fellowship at 2920 Hwy 641 North, Paris, TN 38242.
