Eric S. Ainscough, age 60 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Puryear, TN.
He was an avid wrestler for 28 years, starting at Charlotte High School, went on to wrestle in the 1980 Olympics, and many places around the world. Eric loved working older muscle cars, cooking, listening to music, and being on the farm.
Eric was born September 23, 1961, in Akron, OH, to the late Larry Kevin Ainscough and to the late Nancy Diane Sellers Ainscough.
He married on January 7, 2002, to Tamara Ainscough who survives of Murray, KY.
Along with his wife, he is survived by five children, Brittany Rosen of Englewood, FL, Kayla Ainscough Ingland of Murray, KY, Megan Ainscough of Murray, KY, Austin Ainscough of Murray, KY, and Jennifer Lee of Buchanan, TN; one sister, Traci (Joey) Collins of Springville, TN; three brothers, Kevin Ainscough of Paris, Jeff Ainscough of Parsons, TN, and Perry Ainscough of Murray, KY; 6 grandchildren, Noah Ainscough, Jensen Ainscough, Amyiah Ainscough, Elijah Natividad, Evan Natividad, and Ebony Lee; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, one sister, Cheri Tanner.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., at Jesus Saves Baptist Church. His funeral service will be Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Jesus Saves Baptist Church, with Joey Collins officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow in Welborn Cemetery in Puryear, TN.
