Elsie Bell

Elsie Lou Bell, age 77 of Paris, TN, died Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Towne Square of Puryear, TN.

She was a member of East Wood Church of Christ.  She graduated from Cottage Grove High School then attended West Tennessee Business College in Jackson, TN.  She first was employed at Union Insurance Company Inc., for 11 ½ years, then worked for Clifty Farms from 1975-1997 where she served as office manager.  She enjoyed sewing, her dogs, her family and her church family.

Elsie was born October 25, 1939, in the Como community of Paris, TN, to the late Bulon Baudry Bell and the late Lottie Imogene Ray Bell.

She is survived by one brother, Franklin (Ramona) Bell of Paris, TN; four nieces, Joyce Williams, Frankie (Lonnie) Touchstone, Lois (Bobby) Mobley, and Angie (Patrick) Payton; one nephew, Finis (Michelle) Bell; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Baudry Junior Bell.; and two nephews, Larry Bell and Eddie Bell.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2017, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, and continue Friday, September 22, 2017, from 9:00 am – 10:00 am.  The funeral service will be Friday, September 22, 2017, at 10:00 am at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Corey Sawyers officiating.

Pallbearers for the service will be men of the East Wood Church of Christ.

Burial will follow the service in Walker Cemetery in Paris, TN.
