Ella Sue McFadden age 84 of Paris, died Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Henry County Medical Center.
Sue enjoyed working in her yard, walking outside, spending time with her family, and watching her favorite team, The Tennessee Titans. She retired from Knott’s Bakery, where she made doughnuts. She was a member of the Paris First Church of the Nazarene.
Born April 9, 1937, in Waynesboro, TN, she was the daughter of the late William Leonard Creecy and the late Allie Rose Haddock Creecy.
She was married to James Harold McFadden on July 8, 1958. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2011.
She is survived by her two sons, James Steven “Steve” McFadden, and William Marcus “Mark” (Suzi) McFadden, both of Paris; one sister, Linnie Vivian (Charles) Hall of Lawrenceburg, TN; two granddaughters, Jennifer Brooke McFadden, and Hannah Michelle McFadden both of Memphis; and several nieces and nephews; and her dog Bobo.
Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Wiley Creecy, and Jimmy Creecy.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m., and continue Tuesday, March 8, 2022, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with her nephew Roger Creecy officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow the service in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
