Elaine Lois Galindo

Elaine Lois Galindo, age 87 of Springville, TN, died Thursday, December 28, 2023, at her residence.

She retired from Durango Boots in Franklin, TN, and formerly worked at Genesco in Camden, TN.  Elaine loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  She enjoyed reading, fishing, playing cards, growing flowers, and her birthday parties.

Elaine was born September 16, 1936, in Muskegon, MI, to the late Farrel Robinson and the late Virginia Zemke Parker.

She is survived by her six children, John Galindo, Jr., of Springville, TN, Susan Watts of Big Sandy, TN, Robin (Steve) Holifield of Eva, TN, Patricia (Doug) Lowe of Springville, TN, Daniel Galindo of Springville, TN, Jeffery (Cynthia) Galindo of Springville, TN; one sister, Ida (Chuck) Sternburgh of Norton Shores, MI; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Dagen and Charlotte Robinson; and two brothers, David Robinson and Butch Robinson.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.  The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Sharon Crosno officiating.

Elaine’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in Henry County Tabernacle Cemetery in Springville, TN.
