Former Ed’s Appliance Repair owner-operator Edward Lincoln
Boyden Willey, 74, of Paris died Friday, March 29, 2013, at
his residence.
His wife, Geraldine Schnelker Willey, survives. They were
married on April 29, 1988.
His body was cremated.
A memorial service is planned at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Ridgeway
Funeral Home, with Bill Edwards officiating.
Visitation will be two hours before the service.
Born July 7, 1938, in Saco, Maine, he was a son of the late
Arthur Willey and Phyllis Frances Morrise Cook.
Willey ran his appliance repair business in Paris. A U.S. Air
Force veteran, he served as a weatherman. He was a member
of AMVETS Post 45, serving as an adjutant for more than 20
years. He also was a member of American Legion and International
Order of Odd Fellows.
In addition to his wife, he leaves five daughters: Beckey (Michael)
Gallamore of King George, Va., Jacqueline (Phillip) Ansell
of California, Mary (Bill) Cason of Altus, Okla., Vicki (Henry)
Page of Cottage Grove and Valerie Carls of Anderson, Ind.; one
son: Daniel (Colleen) Carls of Conroe, Texas;
Four sisters: Judy Milliken of Killeen, Texas, Roberta Connor
of Newfield, Maine, and Diane (Clayton) Collins and Anita
(James) Butler MacGregor, both of Sanford, Maine; three
brothers: Joseph Willey of Springville, Maine, Danny Butler of
Sanford and David Butler of Alford, Maine; 11 grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.
One sister and two brothers also preceded him in death.
