Edsel Barrow

Edsel Tillman Barrow, age 87 of Paris, TN, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.

He was the owner & operator of Edsel Barrow Plumbing in Paris for 20 years.  Edsel formerly attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Paris.  He was an Edsel car enthusiast and belonged to the International Edsel Club.  Edsel was an avid animal lover and always had a joke to tell.  He was a loving father, and his grandchildren brought him much joy.

Edsel was born, December 24, 1933, in Springville, TN, to the late Codie Barrow and the late Hattie Mae Presson Barrow.

He was married August 15, 1953, to Lois Barrow, who preceded him in death in 2006.

He is survived by one daughter, Kathy Barrow of Paris; one grandson, Shaun Barrow (Tracy Sawyer) of Greenfield, TN; two great granddaughters, Allie Barrow (Keaton Kendal) and Ariel (Josh) Mullen; one great-great grandson, Levi Kendal; and a great-great granddaughter, Meradith Kendal, to be born in April 2021.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Judy Barrow; and one brother, Harold Barrow.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with a memorial service to be held Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 10:00 am at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.
