Doyce Lee Durbin, age 64 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, December 26, 2019, at his residence.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving for 20 years. He was a lifelong musician playing the guitar. Doyce enjoyed collecting coins and Hot Wheels with his son. He was also a collector of guitar pics and any music memorabilia. He attended Grace Baptist Church in Paris.
Doyce was born July 14, 1955, in Santa Cruz, CA, to the late Doyce Bud Durbin and Dorothy Bryant Furtney, who survives, of Paris, TN.
Along with his mother, he is also survived by one son, Chris (Jessica) Durbin of Montgomery, AL; one sister, Linda Foreman of Juneau, AK; and nieces and nephews, James (Heidi) Durbin, Carie Durbin, and Deanna (Josh) Salvage.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Willie Durbin.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 31, 2019, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Jack Thacker officiating.
Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery in Paris, TN.
