Douglas Keith Harper, age 42, of Buchanan, Tenn., died Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tenn. Mary Alice Elkins Harper June 27, 1992, who survives.
Harper was a self employed contractor for Elkins Construction. He enjoyed riding horses and camping.
He was the son of the late Damon Harper and Judy Evans Harper of Jackson, Miss.
He is also survived by a daughter: Ariel Harper of Lebanon, Tenn. one son: Dylan Keith Harper & fiancee Victoria Burnett of Buchanan, Tenn., sister: Anna Harper Owens of Jackson, Miss.a brother: Wesley (Rebecca) Harper of Paris, Tenn.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, August 18, 2014 and after 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Randy Stephens officiating.
Mr. Harper is to be cremated following the funeral service.
