Dorothy J. "Dot" Lloyd

Dorothy J. “Dot” Lloyd, age 85 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, October 26, 2019, at Signature HealthCARE in South Pittsburg, TN.

She was a homemaker.  Dot was a former member of First Christian Church and the “Early Birds” Bowling League in Paris.  She loved Bingo

Dot was born March 15, 1934, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Dalton Berryman and the late Mamie Lynn Berryman.

She was married November 21, 1954, to George Harold Lloyd, Sr., who preceded her in death on October 31, 1998.

She is survived by two sons, George Harold (Ruth Anne) Lloyd, Jr., of South Pittsburg, TN, and Jeffery (Latricia) Lloyd of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren Allison Lloyd, Lucas Lloyd, and Adam Lloyd; and two great grandchildren, Hunter and Adam.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Elvie Swader; and two brothers, Bobby Berryman and Coy Berryman.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Tuesday, October 29, 2019, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lucas Lloyd, Adam Lloyd, Clay Johnson, and Jimmy Cooper.

Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memory Garden in Paris, TN.
