Dorothy Janice Grey

Dorothy Janice Grey, age 91 of Paris, TN, died Friday, January 17, 2020, at Henry County Healthcare Center in Paris, TN.

She spent many years in Jacksonville, FL, where she owned and operated a catering business with her husband George before moving back to Paris.  Janice went to Grove High School where she was a cheerleader.  She enjoyed collecting and polishing rocks, traveling to Michigan, and spending time with her sisters.  She had previously attended First United Methodist Church in Paris.

Janice was born March 24, 1928, to the late Granville Newton Berry and the late Dorothy Louise Sensing Berry.

She was married to George Grey, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by three stepdaughters, Jan Bloomfield, Jill Grey, and Jeannine Grey; four stepgrandchildren, Lee Wilson, Jr., Rob Wilson, Lance Wilson, and Jennifer Henneberry; four great grandchildren; three nieces, Meg Corrow, Carmen Taylor Kinsland, and Jan Dixon; and one great nephew, Jarrett Kinsland.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Martha Odgers, Pat Taylor, and Margaret McMillen.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, 38242.  The body is to be cremated.   Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Paris, TN, at a later date.
