Dorothy Joyner

Dorothy Shrader Joyner, age 92, of Paris, Tenn, died Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tenn.
She attended Caledonia Missionary Baptist Church in McKenzie, TN and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, flowers, and spending time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
She was born February 18, 1924 in McKenzie, TN in Henry County to the late Guy Shrader and the late Bessie Nan Ridley Shrader.
She was married on December 18, 1949 to W.G. "Pete" Joyner, and he preceded in death on August 29, 1984. She is survived by her two Daughters, Kay (Ray) Houston of Paris, Tenn, and Carol (Andy) McBee of Buchanan, Tenn; three Grandchildren, Jason McBee and friend Janie Ricketts, Brent McBee, and James W. Brinkley and friend Kristie Freeman; and two Great Grandchildren, Faith Brinkley, and Katie McBee.
Besides her Husband and Parents, Dorothy was also preceded in death by a Sister, Doris Britt; and Brothers, Ralph and Ridley Shrader.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn. She is to be cremated with Memorial Visitation from 9:30 – 11 am Saturday, September 17, 2016 with a Memorial Service at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 am Saturday, September 17, 2016, with Johnathan Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Caledonia Cemetery in McKenzie, Tenn.
