Dorothea Susan Riordan, age 81, of Springville, Tenn., died Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church where she was very active in various church groups and functions and she loved to read and do crossword puzzles.
Dorothea was born December 18, 1933 in Chicago, IL to the late William L. Gamble and the late Florence Baffa Gamble.
She is survived by her One Daughter, Susan (David) Caldwell of Springville, Tenn; Three Sons, William Riordan of Springville, Tenn, Anthony (Shanon) Riordan of Paris, Tenn, Eddie (Melissa Bills) Riordan of Paris, Tenn; 11 Grandchildren, Tauryannah (Josh) Fortner, Jessica Riordan, Justine (Tyler) Bursey, Camille Caldwell, Gabriella Bills, Josh Lefler, Blake Flowers, Cameron Riordan, Ashton Riordan, Skylar Riordan, and Sofia Riordan; Seven Great Grandchildren, Aubrey Fortner, Emma Fortner, Brodie Fortner, Luke Fortner, Ivy Bursey, Byron Lefler, and Cindy Lefler.
Besides her Parents, she was also preceded in death by a Son, Floyd Riordan; and Three Sisters, Doris Erb, Jeanne Diamond, and Roberta Ditchie.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Monday, November 23, 2015 with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 10 am – 12:30 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
Father Kris Rusin will officiate. Pallbearers will be Phil Wichlan, John Baskitis, Buddy Gardner, and Ronnie Herman.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, Tenn.
