Doris Jean Ward

Doris Jean Ward, age 91 of Paris, TN, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at her residence. 

Doris was a member of Faxon Baptist Church. She retired after 17 years as a machine operator at Emerson Electric in Paris. She enjoyed yardwork and spending time outdoors.

She was born November 8, 1933, in Big Sandy, TN to the late Dewey Perry Ward and the late Bessie Marie Berry Ward.

Doris is survived by two sons, Kerry Crosno of Paris, TN, and J.T. (Sherry) Crosno of Paris, TN; one sister, Carolyn Ward of Paris, TN; five grandchildren, Brian, Joel, James, Jonathan, and Kasey Crosno; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Besides her parents, Doris was also preceded in death by one son, Dale Everett Crosno; three sisters, Joy Webb, Mava Brown, and Bertha Kline Ward; and six brothers, Thomas, L.M., Perry Lee, Jerry, Dewey Odell, and Carlos Ward.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 11 am until 1 pm with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm officiated by Randy Miller.

Pallbearers will be Joel Crosno, Brinnen Murray, Michael Raymer, Mikey Raymer, Kasey Crosno, and Richard Raymer. 

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris.
