Donald Watkins, Sr.

Donald Watkins, Sr., age 70, of Versailles, Ky., formerly of Henry County, died Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, Ky.
He was a former Henry Co. TN resident and a retired Fed Ex truck driver. Donald served in the US Army 101st Airbourne Division during Vietnam. He was a Life time member of the V.F.W. in Paris, TN and a member of the N.R.A.
Donald was born August 24, 1944 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Bernie Watkins and the late Florence Dilly Watkins.
He is survived by his One Daughter, Jennifer McCoy (Rick) Smith of Rockwood, Tenn; Two Sons, Donald "Donnie" Watkins, Jr. of Versailles, Ky, Jason Watkins of Versailles, Ky; One Sister, Shirley Takas of Toledo, Ohio; One Brother, Bernie Watkins, Jr. of Ohio; Four Grandchildren, David Gater, Daniel Sarver, Delayna Sarver, and Dalton Andrew Watkins; and his Former Wife, Martha Watkins of Paris, TN.
Besides his Parents, Donald was preceded in death by a Sister, Joyce Watkins and Brothers, David Watkins, and Paul Watkins.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn. No visitation is planned. There will be a Graveside Funeral Service at Foundry Hill Baptist Cemetery at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2014.

Interment will be at Foundry Hill Baptist Cemetery near Puryear, Tenn.
