Don was married August 21, 1948 to Gertrude Fry Eson and she survives.
He retired from Allis Chalmers in Springfield, IL.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and dancing.
He is also survived by: Daughters, Patricia (Danny) Magos of Buchanan, TN, and Linda Bradbury of Springfield, IL; 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, Charles and Nellie Anderson Eson; and Brothers, Kenneth and Loren Eson.
