Dennis Watts

Dennis Dwayne Watts, age 66 of Paris, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Dennis was born December 4, 1958, to the late Bobby Watts and the late Christine Watts Breaux Turner.

He married Nancy Tolbert Watts, who survives of Paris, TN, on December 30, 1983, in McKenzie, TN.

Dennis served the United States Postal Service for 24 years. He was the current pastor of Henry County Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church and a former member of Camden First United Pentecostal Church. In addition, he had served as the assistant pastor at several United Pentecostal Churches throughout Northwest Tennessee. Dennis had a passion for connecting with people in his community during his postal routes and had a deep love for singing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Lindsey (Shannon) Skelton of Port St. Lucie, FL, Leah (Jonathan) Milam of Lexington, TN, Caleb (Amanda) Watts of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Andrew (Meagan) Watts of Paris, TN; one brother, Kendall Watts of Mansfield, TN; and eight grandchildren, Carley, Cooper, Cambria, Caris, Alannah, Analise, Daxton, and Dallas.

Along with his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Watts and Gary Breaux.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Friday, April 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Camden First United Pentecostal Church, with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Marty Johnson and Rev. Jackie Wilkerson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Watts, Andrew Watts, Shannon Skelton, Jonathan Milam, Kendall Watts, and Donald Tolbert.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Beasley, Bobby French, and Johnny Norwood.

Burial will be private.
