Dennis Hatman

Dennis Hatman, age 69 of Paris, TN, died Friday, May 10, 2019, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.

He co-owned and operated First Folio Books, a rare book company, alongside his partner.  Dennis was a great carpenter, interior decorator, and quilter, and he enjoyed gardening.  He was a loving husband for 47 years.

Dennis was born February 27, 1950, in Walnut Ridge, AR, to the late Marvin Hatman and the late Agnes Davis Hatman.

He was married in February 2016, to his partner of 47 years, Dennis R. Melhouse, who survives, of Paris, TN.

Along with his partner, he is also survived by one sister-in-law, Brenda Melhouse of Sugar Grove, IL; two brothers-in-law, Thomas (Pat) Melhouse of Ocala, FL, and Roger (Linda) Melhouse of Yorkville, IL; and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Arrangements will be handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, 38242.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned.
