Debra Carol Lemonds Champlin, age 60 of Paris, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 in Paris.
She was a member of Community of Christ in Paris and attended TVCC in Paris. She was owner and operator of Bella Salon of Paris. Debra enjoyed kayaking, and reading about her cherokee heritage. She loved Colorado and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Debra was born December 19, 1956 in Detroit, MI to the late Joel Porter Lemonds and the late Betty Jo Hale Lemonds.
She was married on July 5, 2013 to David Eugene Champlin who survives of Paris. She is also survived by one daughter, Secret Danielle Sanders of Paris, TN; one sister, Lisa Lemonds; one brother, Joe Dale (Alma) Lemonds of Smyrna, TN; five grandchildren, Hunter Luna, Sydney Luna, Sarah Grace Luna, Jacob Luna, and Danilynn Marie Young; 5 nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides her parents, Debra was also preceded in death by her son, Rudy Allen Luna; and one brother, Michael Wayne Lemonds.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN where visitation will be Wednesday February 8, 2017 from 4 – 7 pm and Thursday February 9, 2017 from 10 – 11 am. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, February 9, 2017 at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Dr. Gary S. Collier officiating. Named as honorary pallbearers are Jessie and Joey Williams, and Hunter and Jacob Luna.
Cremation will follow the Service and burial will follow later in Walker Cemetery with her son Rudy.
