Debra Helen "Debbie" Schilling-Longest

Debra Helen “Debbie” Schilling-Longest, age 65 of Springville, TN, died Monday, April 22, 2024, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

She retired after many years as an aviation maintenance mechanic.  She was also the owner & operator of a ceramic shop from 1992-1999.  Debbie enjoyed arts & crafts, crocheting, reading crime novels, and watching horror movies.  She loved to cook and always enjoyed her favorite holiday of Christmas.  Debbie had a heart of gold and was always helping others in need.  She was a strong advocate for animal rescue and was very involved with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

Debbie was born August 11, 1958, in Green Pointe, Brooklyn, NY, to the late Frederick Schoenewolf and the late Dorothia Schade Schoenewolf.

She was married January 22, 2007, to John Longest, who survives, of Springville, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by one daughter, StacyAna (Michael Potter) LePore of Springville, TN; one brother, Kenneth Carroll of Monticello, AR; on sister-in-law, Cynthia Jane Bidwell; one granddaughter, LeAnna Lynch and fiancé, Kalub Bathke of Cheyenne, WY; one grand dog, Bentley; and her lifelong best friend, Marc Sultan of Waco, TX.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Anthony Joseph Mastrominico; and one son-in-law, Joe LePore.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned.
