Deborah Ann "Deb" Patterson

Deborah A. Patterson, age 74 of Paris, TN, formerly of Barryton, MI, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at home surrounded by love.

Deb was born November 29, 1949, in Lansing, MI, to the late Herbert Schoepke and the late Phyllis Fries Schoepke.  

She graduated from Everett High School in Lansing, MI.  Deb met the love of her life, Ronald Patterson, and they were married on June 14, 1968.  Deb worked and retired from the State of Michigan in 2004.  Ron and Deb moved to Paris from Barryton, MI in 2008.  

Deb enjoyed spending time with her family and friends throughout the years.  She loved fishing, sunny days, and reading books.  She loved remembering the “good ole days” and sharing stories.  Deb loved traveling and antiquing with Ron.  She loved her Saturday drives and seeing her great grandchildren or “greats” as she would call them.  She absolutely adored her dog Suzie and so much more.

Deb is survived by her daughters, Kelly (Joe) Martinez of Springville, TN, and Brandy Taylor of Paris, TN; nine grandchildren, Michael (Abigail), Ryan, Victoria (Dusty), Clarissa (Zack), Kelsi, Tyler (Keleah), Andy, Antonio (Hannah), and Alexander; and eight great grandchildren, Serenity, Calvin, James, Layla, Everly, Colson, Cayden, and Kennedy.

In addition to her parents and husband, Deb was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law & father-in-law, Elayne & George; and her brother-in-law, Don.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Randy Stephens and Kelsi Taylor officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Morrissey, Tyler Martinez, Andy Patterson, Antonio Martinez, Brian Carlton, and Cameron Roberts.

Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove, TN.
