Dean Miles

Dean Miles, age 87 of Paris, TN, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, at her residence.

She was a homemaker who loved her family very much.  Dean enjoyed watching news on the television, housekeeping, and gardening.  She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Paris.

Dean was born February 24, 1934, in Big Sandy, TN, to the late Freeman Tubbs and the late Inez Burnette Tubbs.

She was married February 28, 1953, to L.W. “Dub” Miles, who preceded her in death on November  13, 1994.

She is survived by her four sons, Mike (Loretta) Miles of Paris, Ricky Miles of Paris, Ed (Elane) Miles of Paris, and Jeff (Robin) Miles of Palm Desert, CA; one sister, Betty Gothard of Youngstown, OH; one brother, Jimmy Tubbs of Paris; seven grandchildren, April Guess, David (Shayna) Miles, Kayla (Sam) Watson, Jessica (Gary) Carroll, Addison Miles, Cameron (Jordan) Miles, and Collin Miles; and eight great grandchildren, Cooper Williams, Creek Watson, Myla Carroll, Ashlyn Bowden, Ethan Guess, Miley Guess, Kenna Grace Miles, and Remi Miles.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Jean Stockdale; one brother, Toby Tubbs; and one great grandchild, Levi Miles.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Friday, May 7, 2021, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.  The funeral service will be Saturday, May 8, 2021, at 11:00 am at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Kenny Carr officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Collin Miles, Cameron Miles, Gary Carroll, Sam Watson, Ethan Guess, and David Miles.

Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Paris.
