David Allan "Dave" Schaeffer

David Allan “Dave” Schaeffer, age 54 of Henry, TN, died Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at his residence.

He formerly worked in construction.  Dave enjoyed hunting and loved being a “shadetree mechanic.”

Dave was born June 9, 1966, in Lancaster, PA, to the late Charles Schaeffer, Sr., and Betty Ward Schaeffer, who survives, of Lancaster, PA.

He was married August 15, 2005, to Jessie Langley Schaeffer, who survives, of Henry, TN.

Along with wife and his mother, he is also survived by four children, Elizabeth Rosenkrans (Gordon Erisman) of Lancaster, PA, Nevada (Devin) Western of Henry, TN, Ozzy Schaeffer of Henry, TN, and Mark Rosenkrans (Hailey Bennett) of Henry, TN; two sisters, Sandy Schaeffer (Chuck Holsinger) of Wrightsville, PA, and Becky (Tony) Sales of Quarryville, PA; four brothers, Charles (Ann) Schaeffer of Cumberland City, TN, Thomas Schaeffer of Harrisburg, PA, William (Bonnie) Schaeffer of Manheim, PA, and Michael Schaeffer of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Gordon Erisman, III, Melody Reign Western, and Declan Rosenkrans; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated with a memorial gathering to be held Friday, July 17, 2020, at the Henry City Civic Center, 55 Park Dr., Henry, TN 38231, from 1 until 4 PM.
