David Lee “Big Wally” Jackson, age 58, of Buchanan, Tenn., died Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Jackson Madison Co. Gen. Hosp. in Jackson, Tenn.
He was a truck driver for the Henry County Highway Dept. many years and was Church of Christ and an avid fisherman.
He was born November 17, 1955 in Paris, TN to the late Wallace Jackson and the late Jane Ball Jackson.
He is survived by his Sister, Kathy (Darrell) Osbron of Buchanan, Tenn.; Brother, Greg (Hollie) Jackson of Old Hickory, Tenn.; Nieces, Michelle (Mike) Davis, Amy (Jeremy) Myrick, and Heather Jane Jackson; Nephews, Darren Osbron and Phillip (Carrye) Jackson; and several Great Nieces and Nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Mike Jackson in 2003.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be Saturday from 4 to 8 pm and Sunday after 12 pm. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:30 PM Sunday, December 15, 2013.
Tom Sisco will officiate.
Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Buchanan, Tenn.
Pallbearers will be: Darren Osbron, Phillip Jackson, Doug Jackson, Ricky Williams, David Lassiter, Stacy Nored, Mike Davis, and Rodney Lassiter.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Luke Jackson and Rance Myrick and the Henry County Highway Department Employees.
