David Lynn Birmingham, age 61, of Paris, TN, died Friday, February 17, 2017, in Paris, TN.
David was a lifelong truck driver who formerly drove for Three Rivers Trucking. He was a US Navy Veteran and a life member of Amvets. In 1979, he built and help run DavAnn Group Home on Trading Post Road here in Paris. He attended West Wood Pentecostal Church of God. He enjoyed working all the time at lots of different things and helping others.
He was born April 15, 1955, in Fulton, KY, to the late G.W. Birmingham and the late Allie May Campbell Birmingham York.
David was married June 6, 2016, to Naoma Pierce Birmingham, of Paris, TN, who survives. Along with his wife, he is survived by two step-daughters, Jessica (Johnny) Stiles of Paris, TN, and Shana (Jerry) Vaughn of Mayfield, KY; one step-son, Christopher Norton and fiancé, Nikki Colley both of Paris, TN; one brother, Gary Wayne Birmingham of Bardwell, KY; two half-brothers, Mark York of Paris, TN, and Randy Birmingham of Jackson, TN; four grandchildren, Austin Bratton, Nahaven Vaughn, Hayden Stiles, and Domanic Norton.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2017, with the funeral service on Tuesday at 6:30 PM at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home. Joe Page will officiate.
Cremation will follow the service, then burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, TN.
