Dave Steele

Dave Henry Steele, age 94, of Paris, Tenn., died Monday night, September 30, 2013, at his Residence.  He was Married Sept. 22, 1945 to Eunice Rozella Robbins Steele and  she survives.

Dave was a Member of Springhill Baptist Church and a WW II Army veteran who received a Purple Heart & 2 Bronze Stars. He Retired from Holley Carburetor Plant and was a life long farmer, an Avid hunter & fisherman and Loved the outdoors..  .

He was the son of the late John Steele and the late Nellie Porter Hill Steele.

He is also survived by One Son, Phillip D. Steele of Paris, Tenn.; Daughter-in-law-Judy Steele of Paris, Tenn; Two Sisters, Nancy Cate of Paris, Tenn., and Ruth Robbins of Paris, Tenn., One Brother, John Hill Steele of Paris, Tenn., 4 Grandchildren, Susanne (Andy) Collins, Ken Steele, Shane (Chris) Steele, Brandi (Scott) Phillips and 6 Great Grandchildren, Garrett Steele, Grayson Carey, Hailey Phillips, Jordan Phillips, Cameron Collins, and Anne Claire Collins

Dave was also preceded in death by a son, Paul D. Steele; and sisters, Mary Scott, Mildred Lankford and Susie Griffin..

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, October  2, 2013 and after 10:00 AM  Thursday, until the service at 11:00 AM at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Fred Shackelford of Springhill Baptist Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
