Dannie Byars

Dannie F. Byars, age 71 of Paris, TN, died Monday May 28, 2018, at the Henry County Healthcare Center.

Dannie served in the US Navy where he was awarded a purple heart. He was a retired EMT from the Henry County Ambulance Service after working 27 years. He was Baptist in faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was born October 19, 1946, in Paris, TN, to the late James Byars and the late Norma Farmer Byars.

Dannie was married June 19, 2001, to Mary Ann Kazimir Byars, of Paris, TN, who survives.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two children: Tammy (T.J.) Holtman of Florence, KY, and Justen (Brandi) Byars of Paris, TN; one sister: Sherry (James) Parker of Texas; five grandchildren: Lacy Danielle Farano, Carly Faith Holtman, Cade Nolan Holtman, Gage Daniel Byars and Gracie Mae Byars; one great-grandchild: Mia Danielle Farano.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother Ronnie Byars.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where the memorial visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. The Memorial service with military rites will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at 6:00 pm in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Craig Peevyhouse and Jeremiah Cole officiating.
