Daniel Eric Asher

Daniel Eric Asher, age 40 of Buchanan, TN, died Friday, January 26, 2024, at his Dad’s residence.

He graduated from Henry County High School and went on to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.  Daniel became disabled by his cancer that he endured for a long season of his life.  He enjoyed going to the library and was an avid reader.  

Daniel was born April 13, 1983, in Paris, TN, to Eric (Sharon) Asher, who survives, of Buchanan, TN, and Frieda Houston Asher (Eddie) Carpenter, who survives, of Henry, TN.

Along with his mother and father, he is also survived by his brothers, Zachary (Ashley) Asher of Smiths Grove, KY, and Matthew Carpenter of Clermont, FL; his sisters, Whitney Carpenter of Conway, AR, and Stacey (Mike) Henderson of Alcoa, TN; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Duane & Gretchen Asher and Paul & Annie Sue Houston.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
