Cwo3 H. Ray Standridge

CW03 H. Ray Standridge, age 74 of Buchanan, TN, died Saturday, May 9, 2020, at his residence.

He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after a 21-year career.  Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and adored his dogs.  He was Baptist by belief.

Ray was born January 19, 1946, in Clarksville, GA.

He was married February 15, 1997, to Jean Latimer Standridge, who survives, of Buchanan, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by two sisters, JoAnn Kelley of Dawsonville, GA, and Sandra (Russell) Elrod of Gainesville, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leila Taylor Standridge; and two sisters, Carolyn Turner and Doris Smith.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
