Curtis Dale Thompson

Curtis Dale Thompson, age 76, of Puryear, Tenn., died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, in Paris, Tenn. He worked in maintenance at the Henry County Highway Department and formerly worked at the Holley Carburetor Plant. He was a member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge.
He was born November 22, 1939, in Paris, TN to the late Clifford Thompson and the late Edith (Burnette) Thompson.
He is survived by his two sons, Jeff (Roxanne) Thompson of Paris, Tenn., Joey Thompson of Puryear, Tenn.; one daughter, Tammy (Jerry) Freeland of Paris, Tenn.; and one sister, Betty Thompson Paschall of Paducah, Ky.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Dan Thompson, and a grandchild, Heather Hollingsworth.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2016 and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, March 25, 2016. The funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, March 25, 2016.
Chad Kennedy will officiate.
Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
