Former picture framer Craig Woods Gold, 64, of Paris died Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at his residence.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Mitch Fiscus will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Friday.
Born July 25, 1948, in Atlanta, he was a son of the late Donald Gold Sr. and Wilna Lee Gold.
Gold was a former picture framer at his mother’s shop Red Lion Gallery. A family member said he loved animals, enjoyed taking care of stray cats and was a ham radio operator. He was a superb swimmer and member of the Vero Beach (Fla.) High School swim team and liked classical and opera music. He attended Jones Chapel Baptist Church.
He leaves one brother: Donald (Karen) Gold of Paris; two nieces: Bourtai Kandahar Gold of California and Khurrem Karelia Gold of New York City; two nephews: Donald D. Gold III of Chicago and Temujin Anttila Gold of Tempe, Ariz.; and a close friend: Skip Lee of Vero Beach.
