Cindy J. Holland

Cindy J. Holland, age 65 of Paris, TN, died Sunday, February 11, 2024, at her residence.  

She was a member of Van Dyke Church of Christ in Paris.  She formerly worked at Briggs & Stratton in Murray, KY.  Cindy loved to read, the Chicago Bears, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She loved to watch the leaves change during her favorite time of the year each fall.  

Cindy was born July 9, 1958, in Henry County, TN, to the late Bobby Jo Mosley and the late Margie Smith Green.

She was married January 5, 1980, to Kenneth Holland, who survives, of Paris, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by two daughters, Sally (Robert) Dunahoo of Dyer, TN, and Jennifer Holland Ellegood of Wingo, KY; one sister DeDe Church of Orlando, FL; one brother, Charles “Bubba” (Trena) Green of Hayti, MO; and three grandchildren, Jessica Davis, Lakien Ellegood, and Kristopher Ellegood.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Sue Mosley; and her stepfather, Charles Green.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and will continue Thursday February 15, 2024, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.  The funeral service will be Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Randy Stephens officiating.

Burial will be in VanDyke Grove Cemetery in Paris, TN.
