Cheryl Stawski

Rebecca Cheryl Stawski, age 68, of Buchanan, Tenn, died Monday, September 12, 2016, at Huntingdon Health & Rehab Center in Huntingdon, Tenn.

She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Buchanan where she was very active and enjoyed teaching the children.   She loved sitting on her front porch and feeding the wildlife.

She was born June 11, 1948 in Buchanan, TN to the late Lelon Tosco Burton and the late Nobie Sue Nance Burton.

Cheryl was married on August 5, 1983 to Paul Joseph Stawski of Buchanan, and he survives.  She is also survived locally by her son, James Curt Oliver of Buchanan, Tenn;  one Daughter, Renee (Ryan) Reef of Vancouver, BC;  two other Sons, Randy (Elena) Moore of Redford, Mich, and Ryan (Retha) Moore of Redford, Mich;  one Sister, Julia Smothers of Union City, Tenn; two Brothers, Tommy (Melody) Burton of Redford, Mich, and Donnie Burton of Murray, Ky; 11 Grandchildren; and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Besides her Parents, Cheryl was also preceded in death by a Daughter, Renea Cheryl Wilson; and a Brother, James Fred Burton.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St,  Paris, Tenn, where the visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Thursday, September 15, 2016 and from 10 – 11 am Friday, September 16, 2016.   The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 am Friday, September 16, 2016.   Carl Butler and Virgil Bishop will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Randy Gean, James Garner, John Douglass, Jack Quinton, Michael Boggess, Charles Lee and Lloyd Salmon.

Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Buchanan, Tenn.
